Congratulations to Mrs. Ivorylen Keller, Administrative Assistant/School Bus Driver with the Office of Transportation, on her selection as the OCSD5 Employee of the Month for March 2015. Mrs. Keller was nominated for this honor by her supervisor James Howard who said the following:
“For the past eight years I’ve had the distinct honor of working with Mrs. Ivorylen Keller and I for one have been thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism she displays during the discharge of her duties in all aspects relative to transportation. Mrs. Keller’s acumen and scope of the management of critical transportation issues has proven to be an invaluable asset in this office. She continues to demonstrate the capacity to work under extremely stressful and difficult conditions which are common place in a pupil transportation environment. She serves as one of the many faceless heroes in this district content with working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that our most precious cargo (the students of OCSD5) is transported safely. This allows the office of transportation to operate at an extremely high level of efficiency and effectiveness. I enthusiastically nominate Mrs. Ivorylen Keller for the OCSD5 Employee of the Month because there is no doubt in my mind that she possesses the tools necessary to go beyond the expected, thus making her skills a commodity that we cannot afford to be without, and vital for the successful day to day operations within the overall scope of pupil transportation.”

As the OCSD5 Employee of the Month, Mrs. Keller received a $100 gift certificate from Walmart, a certificate naming her as the March 2015 Employee of the Month, and recognition on the OCSD5 website and the monthly E-Blast newsletter.
