The 2014-2015 School Year is Off to a Great Start
Tuesday, September 09, 2014

The 2014-2015 school year is off to a great start. Principal Norman is committed to creating a safe campus. According to Mr. Norman, “Safe students are happy students, and happy students are academically productive students.”   He believes that a safe school environment is vital in ensuring that students feel comfortable and safe to learn. Students at a recent game day pep rally sat down to share their opinions of a recent contraband check:

“I feel safe in school, they have good surprise searches.” Trequan E.

“I have never felt this safe in school.” Nakia D.

“I think this school is safe. I feel safe a lot!!” Chris W.

“I think the school is doing a good job and I feel safe.” Warren C.

“Yes, I do feel safer in school since the principal does searches every week and is in the hallway everyday” Justice B.

“I think the security of the school is great and I feel safe.” Tyrell G.

“Due to the extra security measures taken by my school, I feel safe. I appreciate the random searches because I know it is contributing to making Orangeburg-Wilkinson a safe learning environment.” Meghan F.

We encourage you to join us in the great things we are accomplishing. Our motto for this year is, “The Race for Excellence has No Finish Line”. We are well on the way to a safe and productive academic school year.
